It is reported that Sevilla are interested in signing Samir Nasri from Manchester City.
The Rojiblancos are expected to be active during the closing 48 hours of this summer’s transfer market as director of football Monchi looks to add greater strength in depth to his squad.
According to various European outlets, there are a number of targets Monchi is working on. L’Equipe say that he has made an enquiry to City over Nasri, who is thought to be deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola.
However, Spanish daily Marca claim that it will be difficult for Sevilla to sign new players unless others leave first.
The potential departure of Yehven Konoplyanka is said to be key to Monchi’s hopes of landing Nasri, with the Rojiblancos needing to remain within the limits of non-Spanish players they are allowed to name in their Champions League squad.
Turkish club Besiktas are thought to be Sevilla's main rivals in the race for Frenchman Nasri's signature.
