Bravo traveling to Manchester

Claudio Bravo is on his way Manchester ahead of his move from Barcelona to Manchester City, it has been reported.

Mundo Deportivo is among the sources claiming the Chilean will shortly arrive in England and say he will on Wednesday have a medical with the Premier League club, then sign his contract once City and Barca have settled the terms of the deal.

Bravo played for Barca against Real Betis in the season-opening 6-2 win on Saturday but then was allowed to miss training as his exit gathered pace.

The 33-year-old spent two years at Camp Nou after joining from Real Sociedad and was Barca’s goalkeeper for La Liga, with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen taking the gloves in the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.

Bravo however pushed to leave Barca this summer as he wanted to be the undisputed No 1 and is to be replaced by Ajax’s Jasper Cillessen, who could be a Barca player before the weekend.
