Alaves have announced the signing of Manchester City youngster Manu Garcia on loan until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old old attacking midfielder, who made his full City debut when coming on as a substitute for Yaya Toure against Aston Villa in March this year, is expected to go straight into the Alaves first team squad.
“More quality for central midfield. Deportivo Alaves have acquired Manu Garcia, a young and promising footballer who comes from Manchester City,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
Born in Oviedo, Garcia began his career with Sporting Gijon’s youth academy aged 12 but was snapped up by the Premier League club in 2013.
