‘Bravo to City almost complete’

Claudio Bravo’s entourage has reportedly told Mundo Deportivo that a deal to take the Barcelona goalkeeper to Manchester City is “almost done”.

Pep Guardiola’s Premier League debut ended in victory as City beat Sunderland 2-1, but the result was overshadowed by the Coach’s decision to drop usual No 1 Joe Hart for ex-Malaga man Willy Caballero.

And after scoffing at Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s €80m release clause, the English giants appear ready to push through a move for his Barca teammate – in a clear sign that Hart’s days are numbered.

“[A deal is] almost done with the City,” the “very close” source told MD at Camp Nou on the night of the Gamper Trophy.

The 33-year-old is expected to warrant a fee of €20-25m, potentially double what La Blaugrana paid Real Sociedad in 2014.
