Sevilla sporting director Monchi declined to discuss interest in Valencia’s Dani Parejo but denied the club have acted improperly.
Parejo has been ordered to train away from his teammates after trying to force a move from Mestalla to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Los Che sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch describing the midfielder’s behaviour as ‘the worst he’s ever seen.’
“Sevilla showed interest in the signing of Parejo and Valencia transmitted their intention not to sell the player. There’s no more to say. Each club has to bear the market right now with the internal pressures they have,” Monchi said, AS reports.
“We have always acted in the right way because I don’t like it when someone doesn’t act in the right way with me, so I don’t do it with anyone else.”
