Parejo ‘ordered to train alone’

Dani Parejo’s future at Valencia is hanging in the balance after the midfielder was reportedly ordered to train alone.

According to AS, Valencia boss Pako Ayestaran has lost patience with Parejo due to the 27-year-old’s perceived lack of commitment.

Consequently, one of the Coach’s first tasks in England, where Los Che began training on Monday, was to inform the player that he would work away from the squad.

Parejo’s relationship with Valencia has become strained in the past month after the club rejected a €10m bid from Sevilla.

AS claims he is still keen on joining the Andalusians, but Valencia insist the offer was inadequate, while they are loath to allow the player join a direct rival or succumb to player power.

Local radio station Radio Taronja has since reported that Middlesbrough are monitoring Parejo’s situation after already signing his ex-Valencia teammates Alvaro Negredo and Antonio Barragan.
