Atletico Madrid are moving to ward off interest in brothers Lucas and Theo Hernandez by increasing their escape clauses.
AS reports Lucas will be raised to €25m and Theo €6m if talks between the parties are fruitful amid gossip linking Manchester City with the pair.
Juventus have also been mentioned in connection with Lucas while Barcelona are said to be tracking Theo, but any inquiry has been met with rejection by Los Colchoneros.
The Old Lady would though give Lucas a five-year contract, while it’s understood City would be willing to treble Lucas’ wages, though he is happy at Vicente Calderon after getting to play important games last season, such as the Champions League double-header with Barca.
Theo, 18 and two years younger than Lucas, has yet to debut in the Atletico first team but is considered to have huge potential for a future role with the team.
