Sevilla have announced the signing of midfielder Joaquin Correa from Sampdoria for a reported €10m.
Correa has agreed a five-year contract with Sevilla and will become their fourth summer signing after Pablo Sarabia, Hiroshi Kiyotake and Matias Kranevitter once he puts pen to paper and passes a medical.
His arrival also represents the burgeoning Argentine connection between the club and their new boss Jorge Sampaoli.
The 21-year-old joined Sampdoria from Estudiantes in December 2014 and scored three goals in 25 Serie A appearances for the Blucerchiati last season, in turn earning him a place in La Albiceleste’s Olympic squad.
