Madrid slap record fee on Morata?

Real Madrid have reportedly slapped a €75m asking price on Alvaro Morata, which would make him the most expensive Spaniard in history.

According to Marca, Madrid are in talks to sell the striker to Chelsea and are hoping to make a sizeable profit on the €30m they paid Juventus to buy the striker back.

The Blues are responsible for financing the most expensive-ever transfer involving a Spanish player, having signed Fernando Torres from Liverpool for £50m in January 2011.

The newspaper adds Madrid are not expected to receive the fee they are holding out for but will nonetheless push for more than the Torres deal.
