PSG ‘agree €26m Krychowiak deal’

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly agreed a €26m fee with Sevilla to sign midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.

Marca claims to have been told by a source close to the deal that talks are on the verge of being concluded, albeit for €19m less than Krychowiak’s release clause, although still some €21m more than what Sevilla paid Reims in 2014.

Incoming boss Jorge Sampaoli is understood to have approved the player’s departure as he has earmarked Atletico Madrid’s Matias Kranevitter for the pivot role in his team.

The 26-year-old represents the latest, high-profile summer sale for Los Nervionenses after the likes of Jesus Navas, Ivan Rakitic and Carlos Bacca in recent years.
