Official: Kuzmanovic joins Malaga

Malaga have confirmed the signing of Serbia international midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic on a season-long loan from Basel.

Kuzmanovic passed a medical at Malaga’s headquarters on Thursday morning before putting pen to paper on a deal that includes a purchase option.

The 28-year-old previously turned out for Fiorentina, Stuttgart and Inter and spent the second half of last season at Udinese.

He becomes Malaga’s fourth summer signing after Jony, Keko and Bakary Kone, in what is shaping up to be a busy few months for Juande Ramos’ side.

AS suggests the Andalusians are also on the verge of permanent deals for Derby County defender Raul Albentosa and River Plate attacker Michael Santos, plus a loan swoop for Barcelona striker Sandro Ramirez.

However, Ikechukwu Uche, Christian Atsu, Roque Santa Cruz, Duje Cop, Fernando Tissone and Arthur Boka will leave the club due to their loans or contracts expiring, while Ricardo Horta could be sent to Braga.
