Valencia’s three power-brokers – President Peter Lim, sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch and Coach Pako Ayestaran – are keen on Portugal’s Luis Nani.
Super Deporte reports Nani fits the profile of forward Ayestaran wants and Pitarch was at one of Portugal’s pre-Euro 2016 friendlies, in the private box of Nani’s agent, Jorge Mendes.
There is however potential complication from the Premier League, with Everton said to have made an offer, though Los Che have bid as well and theirs at the moment trumps that of the Toffees.
The Valencia offer to Fenerbahce is reportedly €4m plus a player, though Nani’s high wages in Turkey – of €3m-a-year – could be a problem.
Atletico Madrid, Inter and Liverpool have all also been linked with the former Manchester United player.
