Atletico Madrid have confirmed an agreement with Benfica to sign winger Nico Gaitan, to be completed after the Copa America.
A statement on Los Rojiblancos’ official website says Gaitan will travel to Spain to complete the formalities of the transfer after his involvement with Argentina this summer comes to an end.
No fee is revealed for the 28-year-old, who has been with Benfica since a 2010 move from Boca Juniors.
