Iceland boss Lars Lagerback has criticised both Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe ahead of his country’s Euro 2016 clash with Portugal.
The two countries face each other in Saint-Etienne on Tuesday night in their opening Group F game, and Lagerback has lit the flame for a potentially explosive clash by branding the Real Madrid pair actors.
“Portugal has one of the best players in the world in Cristiano, but he is also an excellent actor,” the 67-year-old told a Press conference.
“In the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid we also saw the actions of someone who could be in Hollywood. I mean Pepe.
“You can see the images…for me it’s a high-level performance, although I don’t know the demands they place on you in Hollywood.
“It’s something I don’t like. I wish we could watch videos after the event and punish these actions.”
