Alves doubts over PSG or Juve

Dani Alves is reportedly weighing up a renewed push from Paris Saint-Germain, having looked close to leaving Barcelona for Juventus.

It has been confirmed Alves is leaving Camp Nou for free this summer due to a clause in his contract and Mundo Deportivo reports a deal with Juve is almost complete, but Alves is having second thoughts at the 11th hour.

PSG remain in pursuit of the right-back and their long chase, having tried to get Alves to France in the past, and the presence of a number of compatriots and friends at the club – including Thiago Silva, David Luiz and Lucas Moura – has thrown the defender’s decision into doubt.

Juve and PSG are both offering a two-year contract with an option for a third but PSG’s offer is lower economically. They have however had a long-standing interest in Alves and he was close to making the move to Ligue 1 a year ago before renewing with Barca.
