Lucas Vazquez accepts Real Madrid face a tough opponent in the Champions League Final but ‘we win if we’re at our level.’
Atletico Madrid are the opposition for Los Blancos and Vazquez praised Diego Simeone’s side, but suggested Madrid are superior and if they show it, will claim the trophy.
“We have to play a complete game and take the chances we have. They’re very good defensively but we know that already and if we're at our level, we win,” he said, AS reports.
“We’re already looking forward to the match. We’re preparing with joy and enthusiasm and a desire to win. The less you think about the importance of the match, the less pressure you’ll feel.
“It’s a pleasure to train under Zinedine Zidane. We saw him as a great player and can learn from him every day. He’s also a modern Coach because most exercises are with the ball. It shows he knows what players like and he wants us to enjoy football as he did.
“It’s an honour to represent the Madrid cantera in the Champions League Final, the biggest thing there is at club level. I’m very happy about that. My teammates have helped me a lot. I’m very grateful to them. I’ve been treated very well and they have looked after me.”
