Robbie Keane has claimed that it would be a “natural progression” for Cristiano Ronaldo to retire at LA Galaxy.
Ronaldo has been linked with ending his career in MLS in the past as he will be 33 when his Real Madrid contract runs its course in 2018, with talk of a renewal yet to be discussed, and Keane admits he would “love” to play alongside the Portuguese at the Galaxy.
“It would be a natural progression [on Ronaldo ending his career at Galaxy],” the Republic of Ireland veteran, who is set to represent his country at Euro 2016, told TMZ Sports.
“I would love him to come and play alongside me for the Galaxy before retiring,” the US team's star striker.
