Deportivo la Coruna defender Laure Sanabria has admitted he wants Real Madrid to win La Liga on the final day this weekend.
Los Blancos face Depor at Riazor knowing that if Barcelona beat Granada at Los Carmenes the title will end up in Catalonia.
Even so, despite Laure [pictured, centre] is set to face his old club on Saturday, he confessed that a Madrid triumph is what he would prefer.
“I’d prefer Real Madrid to win the League because I played there as a youth and that’s where I was given values,” the experienced right-back told reporters.
“I’m not saying it to annoy anybody but the prestige of it would be 10 out of 10. Of course, we are not playing for anything and when that happens you lose your intensity.
“We are comfortable having achieved top-flight safety and have the opportunity to have a party to satisfy our fans.
“It could be we play better as we will be more relaxed because nerves can be difficult to control.”
