Lucas a CL Final doubt?

Lucas Vazquez has suffered a knee injury and will miss Real Madrid’s final game of the season, but should be available for the Champions League Final.

Los Blancos meet Atletico Madrid in Milan on May 28 and AS reports Vazquez injured his knee in the win over Valencia, and the medical experts they have consulted suggest there is a good chance he won’t be ready by then.

Lucas has injured the medial collateral ligament in his left knee and though AS’ medical sources say he’s a doubt, the player’s camp is reportedly insisting that’s not the case and he would be able to play Deportivo La Coruna this weekend if need be.

Madrid are unlikely to take a risk with any of their injured players, however, so Lucas, Keylor Navas, Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale will only be involved at Riazor if they’re fully fit.

Madrid can win the title on Saturday if they beat Deportivo and Barcelona lose at Granada.
