Emery: I never like to lose

Unai Emery disputes that Sevilla had nothing to play for in their game with Granada, which they lost 4-1.

The result means El Grana are safe in the Primera for another season and it was put to Emery after the match that his players switched off, with their League campaign effectively over.

“That’s the first mistake. You can’t feel like you don’t play for anything, first of all you defend the badge,” he countered, AS reports.

“What you do has repercussions for your peers and any professional club. We had options to fight for sixth. I’m not happy with the end of the game.

“The players are angry. I never like to lose and much less, at home.”
