Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to be comfortable in Real Madrid training but Karim Benzema and Casemiro are major doubts for Manchester City.
Ronaldo missed the first leg against the Premier League side after a hamstring injury but AS reports the Portuguese was ‘grinning from ear to ear’ in training on Tuesday, the day before the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
Benzema wasn’t in such good humour, however, and didn’t take part in training, having been forced off at half time at the Etihad Stadium with a muscle injury. The Frenchman is not expected to be involved as a result.
Casemiro was also indisposed for the session at Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground after picking up a hip injury as Madrid beat Real Sociedad at Anoeta on Saturday, but could play with the problem, AS suggests, having done gym work rather than train with his teammates.
