Kaka ‘wants Casillas in MLS’

Kaka would like to see former Real Madrid teammate Iker Casillas in MLS, and believes Zinedine Zidane will thrive on the bench.

The ex-Brazil international was speaking to Cadena Cope and as well as calling for the Madrid fans to treat Cristiano Ronaldo better, reflected on two of his old colleagues.

“I’d hope Casillas [would come to the United States] next year,” Orlando City’s Kaka said, Marca reports.

“But he told me he still wants to play in Portugal [for Porto]. I’d rather see him bringing things to the United States. He’s still got a great name and I think he likes the USA.”

Zidane played with Kaka and Casillas and took over from Rafa Benitez in January, with Kaka backing the Frenchman to do well.

“He can be a great Coach. He has a lot of experience as a player, he played and won a lot,” he continued.

“He’s a winner and knows how to move in a locker room and how to understand the players. He can and will be a great Coach.”
