Pep Guardiola reportedly wants Marc Bartra to join him next season at Manchester City and Barcelona will sell.
AS cites the Daily Mirror as the source of the speculation and it’s said that Bartra could leave Camp Nou for €12m and a buy-back agreement.
Guardiola gave Bartra his Barca debut but the centre-back has struggled for minutes this season under Luis Enrique.
City could though face competition from domestic rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in their pursuit of the Spain international.
Guardiola has also been in contact with Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta about a role as a coach if the veteran decides to retire.
