Unai Emery considers Eibar to be a ‘direct rival’ to Sevilla’s European hopes this season.
The sides meet on Wednesday at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and the Coach told reporters that he is only thinking of Eibar as they’re fighting for the same goal.
“We maintain our way. The League is the most important competition. I’ve been saying that since the first round and I’m not going to stop in the 27th,” AS reports Emery saying.
“We have to improve where we know we need to improve and be more motivated. We have a major challenge against Eibar.
“They’re our direct rival, only five points [behind]. I’m not thinking about Barcelona. The only Blaugrana I think of is Eibar.
“It’s an important game. They’re having a great season and will come here for everything, with the competitive gene Jose Luis Mendilibar puts in his teams.”
