Cazorla a Euro 2016 doubt

Santi Cazorla may not play again this season and the Arsenal midfielder might not be ready for Euro 2016 either.

Sky Sports reports Arsene Wenger confirming Cazorla has an Achilles tendon injury, having previously been on the sidelines with a knee ligament problem.

“Santi is not doing too well. He has some Achilles problems that hold him back,” the Frenchman revealed.

“His knee is doing well but his Achilles has inflamed a little bit and we have to put him off impact.

“We have to see now how he responds. He had always a little tendonitis on his Achilles and we have to see how he responds to that.”

Marca however reports Cazorla is a question mark for the summer tournament because of his injury, having previously been targeting a comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League after a November injury.
