Andres Iniesta has claimed that Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar “are the best players I’ve ever seen”.
Messi, Suarez and Neymar fired Barca to a historic second treble last season, which culminated in the club ending 2015 with five trophies, and have broken numerous goalscoring records along the way, prompting Iniesta to hail them as the finest of all time.
“For me, Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez are the best players I’ve ever seen,” the midfielder told Movistar+.
“Messi’s the undisputed No 1 and there’s no one like him in history.
“The most difficult part of the season remains. We take every game from here to the end as if it were the last.
“I don’t know why this is one of the season’s I’m enjoying the most. Hopefully we end it with trophies.
“Tiredness is the least of our worries. The most important thing is having everything so close and achieving your objectives.
“I neither want nor have the power to say what Cristiano or his peers may think.
“For me, my teammates are the best, for both my club and the national team.”
