Reports from Britain claim Pep Guardiola wants Real Madrid left-back Marcelo at Manchester City when he takes over next season.
Guardiola will leave Bayern Munich at the conclusion of the current campaign to replace Manuel Pellegrini, and the Guardian says Madrid’s Brazil international is a target.
Sport however notes Marcelo is happy as one of Madrid’s captains, is guaranteed his place at Santiago Bernabeu and only recently signed a new contract that has a €120m release clause.
