Marcelino has warned his Villarreal players that only their best will do when Malaga visit El Madrigal in La Liga on Saturday.
The Yellow Submarine head into Week 24 eight points clear of Sevilla in fourth place, with Champions League football next season becoming an ever-likely proposition, but standing in their way are the similarly-resurgent Andalucians, who have lost just twice in their last 11 matches.
“Malaga are in a great run of form and will demand a lot of us,” the Coach said at a Press conference.
“We’re playing against a team who have conceded very little and picked up a lot of points, so it’ll be very difficult.
“In the last 11 games, they’ve lost only two against Sevilla and Barcelona and only slightly.
“[On rotating his squad in light of the Europa League next week], I won’t make many changes.”
