Lionel Messi is back in training after treatment for kidney stones and could be involved as Barcelona play Celta Vigo this weekend.
Messi had the procedure on Tuesday and missed the Catalans’ Copa del Rey semi-final second leg at Valencia as a result, though may have been rested anyway was Luis Enrique named an unfamiliar squad with the tie at 7-0 from the first leg.
But the Argentine was able to join in Thursday’s training session and while his participation on Sunday was generally expected, there was, AS reports, a wait-and-see mentality as well.
Marca adds that Messi was with the first team players who featured against Los Che, taking part in their recovery session.
