Valencia have confirmed the signing of Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev on loan until the end of the season.
The Russia international, 24, will undergo a medical on Tuesday, before training with his teammates for the first time and being unveiled by sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch.
Cheryshev was considered surplus to requirements by Zinedine Zidane, but the Coach made it clear he saw the player in his future plans and was happy to let him leave on a short-term basis.
He also gained notoriety for being the ineligible player who Madrid fielded against Cadiz in the Copa del Rey earlier in the season to warrant expulsion from the competition.
