Real Betis have confirmed the signing of Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old had been on loan at Inter but made just three Serie A appearances, and with no immediate future at Camp Nou, he will now spend the rest of 2015-16 with the Andalucians.
“I come here with great ambition and desire to play again and feel like a footballer,” he told Betis’ official website.
“I’m very pleased to be a great club like Real Betis. I’ve come to do my best to keep the team in La Liga.
“I have great experience from when I was at Barcelona. I’m very powerful on the wing, I like going forward and creating chances.
“To the fans, I’ll say that we’re at home on Sunday, I’m very happy and I’ve come with great enthusiasm.”
