Porto to move Casillas on?

It’s reported that Porto hope to move Spain captain Iker Casillas out of the club at the end of the season as they’re disappointed with his performances.

Casillas moved to Portugal in summer 2015, ending his Real Madrid tenure, but Fichajes.net cites Ok Diario as saying the club are ready to cut their losses.

Porto trail Benfica in the domestic championship and were eliminated from the Champions League at the group stage, with Casillas blamed for a number of errors.

That and the veteran’s hefty wage packet mean Porto would like Casillas to accept an offer from MLS or a Middle East club.

It’s considered likely that Casillas will leave Porto in the summer, the report adds, while Porto also recently sacked Spanish Coach Julen Lopetegui.
