Osasuna have had a late change of heart on the sale of Mikel Merino to Borussia Dortmund and want more than €5m.
It was reported on Wednesday that the Segunda club were selling the midfielder to the German outfit, but with the deal on the verge of completion, Osasuna halted proceedings.
Marca say Osasuna now feel €5m isn’t enough for Merino while Dortmund are reluctant to raise their offer, particularly as they felt they had an agreement.
But they do still want Merino and will maintain negotiations until the close of the winter transfer window, on February 1, while Merino would also like the move to go through.
