Luis Suarez has revealed that his “marvellous” relationship with Lionel Messi and Neymar is the key to Barcelona’s attacking trident.
Suarez, Messi and Neymar, affectionately known as the ‘MSN’, continue to set the bar in world football, with many pundits tipping them to be the best front three in history, and the Uruguayan has put their success down to remaining humble.
“At the moment, Neymar is only behind Leo and continues to learn from him because [Leo’s] a great reference,” he told Barca TV.
"But, with each game, Neymar is doing increasingly different and difficult things.
“At some point, he’s going to be No 1 [in the world]. The joy when he plays and his humility is admirable.
“Leo is the best in the world. On the pitch, it is what inspires admiration beyond.
“Off the pitch, he draws attention because of how quiet and shy he is.
“Both on and off [the pitch], we get along marvellously, none of us feel better than the other and that’s the most important thing.
"We’re more focused on the collective and group.
“People can see that we enjoy seeing one another play well and are happy with every goal scored for the team.”
