Spain Coach Vicente Del Bosque discussed Saul Niguez, David Villa and Diego Costa in light of the squad for Euro 2016.
Del Bosque, who, in an appearance on Radio Marca reiterated that the tournament in France will be his last as La Roja trainer, was asked about the in-form Atletico Madrid midfielder.
“There are only five or six players from [Euro 2008]. I like the term ‘quiet revolution,’” he said.
“Will Saul go to the Euros? We’ll see. I have a red book in which I’m noting everyone.
“Costa? If he looks good, he’ll go to the Euros. Villa? No one is marginalised.”
The question of Gerard Pique was also raised, with Del Bosque asked if he was concerned over the Barcelona player’s use of social media.
“You have to know how to use it, or not use it at all,” he replied.
“We’ll look for better coexistence.”
