Reports Iker Casillas had been approached by Zinedine Zidane over a return to Real Madrid appear to have originated from a prank call.
Cadena SER reported on Monday, shortly before Zidane was confirmed as replacing Rafa Benitez on the Santiago Bernabeu bench, that Casillas, who left Madrid for Porto in the summer, had turned down an offer to go back to Los Blancos.
But later on Monday Cadena SER clarified that the call Casillas received making the offer came from a Zidane impersonator.
