Isco asks to leave Madrid?

Isco has reportedly asked to leave Real Madrid in January if Rafa Benitez stays on as Coach.

According to Onda Cero, the midfielder is upset with the 55-year-old for his lack of first-team opportunities this season, having not played a minute of Los Blancos’ last two games.

Subsequently, he is believed to have made it known that he wants to move on in the winter, aware there is no shortage of interest in his services, predominantly from the Premier League.

Despite Wednesday’s 3-1 win against Real Sociedad, Mundo Deportivo claims the dressing room is convinced that Benitez is nearing the end of his reign, with defeat to Valencia on Sunday expected to be the final straw.

The club, however, are understood to retain their faith in the trainer, who in turn is confident he can overcome the Madrid boo boys, regardless of Zinedine Zidane’s presence in the background.
