Raul: Madrid Coach, President? Not now…

Raul isn’t targeting a return to Real Madrid as Coach or President, preferring to focus on an ambassadorial role with the LFP to the United States.

The iconic Madrid forward retired earlier in 2015 after a spell with New York Cosmos but is staying in the country to promote La Liga.

“[The easiest thing after retirement] would have been to go down the path of a Coach,” he said, Marca reports.

“I’m surrounded by a great team and we will grow and work to help [La Liga’s] brand expand.

“Today I don’t see myself as Coach or President of Real Madrid. Someday, maybe, but now I don’t see it. For now, I have two or three years left in New York.”
