Tottenham Hotspur have discussed an approach to Barcelona for Sandro Ramirez but the Catalans’ buy-back clauses are a barrier.
Sandro has a €12m release clause in his contract, Sport reports, and Spurs would have little trouble meeting it, but don’t want to agree to the buy-back clauses Barca would insist on, as they did with Gerard Deulofeu’s move to Everton and Adama Traore to Aston Villa.
The player is also not convinced by the idea of going to White Hart Lane but isn’t part of Luis Enrique’s plans, having not had a minute’s action in the Club World Cup.
