Cristiano Ronaldo left for his Christmas holiday upset by the Santiago Bernabeu’s reaction to Real Madrid in the Rayo Vallecano rout.
Marca claims that Ronaldo’s unhappiness manifested itself on the pitch as the home supporters showed their ire when Rayo took the lead and, though Los Blancos hit back and eventually won 10-2, the Portuguese remained angered.
It’s said that Ronaldo can’t control his response in those situations despite the club having asked in the past that he not be so vocal in his displeasure, and as a result Ronaldo doesn’t feel as if he has the club’s support on the issue.
Ronaldo’s unhappiness was allegedly shown as he didn’t celebrate his two goals with the gusto he usually does. He also left the stadium in quick time after the match.
The forward is now on his Christmas vacation and is said to be feeling at his best physically, having shaken off the knee problem that affected the start of his season.
