Jordi Alba expects Barcelona to be in for a difficult tie when the Primera leaders meet Premier League high-fliers Arsenal in the Champions League.
Barca and the Gunners were paired in the competition in Monday’s draw, the fourth time in a decade they have met in Europe and Alba warns of a challenge facing La Blaugrana.
“They’re a very complicated opponent who from midfield to the forwards have players who are very good with the ball,” he told Marca from Japan, where Barca are preparing for the Club World Cup.
“I’m sure they’ll make things difficult. Every year is different but this time it will be made more complicated by the players Arsenal have this season.”
