Juventus have confirmed Spain international striker has signed a one-year contract extension, tying him to the Serie A champions until 2020.
Morata’s current deal was due to run to 2019 but he has put pen-to-paper on extended terms, having moved to Turin from Real Madrid in 2014.
A product of the Madrid cantera, Morata was part of the Juventus side that won the Scudetto last season and reached the Champions League final, where they were beaten by Barcelona.
Madrid are said to have a buy-back clause on Morata, and it has been repeatedly rumoured they intend to exercise it.
