Diego Simeone and Neymar have been named La Liga’s Coach and Player of the Month respectively for November.
Neymar becomes the first Barcelona player to win the LFP’s trophy and is recognised for a month that produced five goals in three games – two against Villarreal, one against Real Madrid and two against Real Sociedad.
Simeone takes the trainers’ prize after Atletico took nine points from a possible nine, beating Sporting Gijon, Real Betis and Espanyol, doing so without conceding a goal.
It is Cholo’s second Coach of the Month award, the first coming in October 2013.
