Unai Emery spoke of his “disappointment” after Sevilla were forced to settle for a draw with Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday.
A late Vicente Iborra goal was needed to cancel out Lucas Perez’s opener, but the result left the Andalucians in 10th, six points behind a Champions League berth, and the Coach urged his side to carry on working.
“The draw was fair,” he said after the game.
“We’re going away a little disappointed not to get the three points, but Deportivo are strong at home and we have to continue improving both defensively and in the final third.
“The only way to correct this draw by is winning our next [League] game, which is at home.
“Still, there’s a lot of the season to go and room for us to finish in the position we want.
“We’ll keep working hard to find more efficiency and clarity in our play.”
