Marc Bartra sees Luis Enrique’s Barcelona as similar to that of Pep Guardiola, and isn’t concerned at being left out of the Clasico squad.
Bartra didn’t even make the bench as Barca beat Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu but was in the starting XI as Roma were crushed at Camp Nou.
“There are a lot of games and I’m sure the situation will improve because I will keep working well,” he said, AS reports.
“I prefer to think about the last squad, for Roma, when I did get a call-up.”
Bartra was asked about comparisons between Enrique’s team of today and Guardiola’s of a few years ago, and noted the shared qualities.
“The profile of the team now with Enrique is practically the same as with Guardiola: keep the ball and create chances,” he continued.
