Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco admits Diego Simeone ‘demands a lot’ from his Atletico Madrid squad but believes he’ll become a better player under Cholo.
The Belgium winger pointed to the example of Antoine Griezmann as an example of a new arrival who had to bide his time before winning a regular place under the trainer.
“Everyone knows how Simeone does it. He demands a lot and newcomers often don’t start in the team,” Carrasco noted, AS reports.
“Just look at the case of Griezmann. I thought I’d be a starter at the end of the year, but I guess I have adapted well to the style of the team.
“Cholo is very studious. He’s our 12th man. I think I’ll grow as a player under him.”
