Reports from Spain say Real Sociedad have taken the decision to sack David Moyes and replace him with former Barcelona B Coach Eusebio Sacristan.
AS claims La Real President Jokin Aperribay and the board of directors came to the decision in the aftermath of Saturday’s defeat to Las Palmas.
Eusebio, who has also trained Celta Vigo, is expected to be named as the Scot’s replacement but B team Coach Asier Santana will take Monday’s training session.
Moyes is reported to be in Manchester for his daughter’s birthday. He was appointed as Jagoba Arrasate’s replacement in November 2014 and leaves Anoeta with the Basque club in 16th place, with two wins and nine points from their opening 11 games.
The decision is not yet official but is expected to be confirmed shortly.
