Blanc keeps quiet about Ronaldo chat

Paris Saint-Germain Coach Laurent Blanc declined to reveal what was said between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo after the Real Madrid defeat.

Ronaldo and Blanc were seen engaged in a brief conversation at the final whistle after Nacho’s goal gave Los Blancos three points that sends them to the knockout rounds.

“I’m not going to tell you what he told me,” the trainer said, AS reports, when asked by the Press about the exchange.

Blanc was more forthcoming about the match itself, revealing his belief that PSG were hard done by and deserved better than a one-goal loss.

“Of course it bothers me. We could have been more effective, but we created good chances. Sometimes you score and others not,” he considered.

“When you hit the post three times you realise you don’t lack much. We came for a result we failed to get, but we played well. We had chances and didn’t score. I hope we get so many in other games and we’re more accurate.

“We’ve shown enthusiasm, we’ve organised ourselves well, we have individual quality and we have shown we can keep up. And that’s very positive.”
