‘Sevilla didn’t show their level’

Grzegorz Krychowiak lamented a bad night for Sevilla as they were blown away by Champions League opponents Manchester City.

City won 3-1 with all the goals coming in the first half, Los Rojiblancos two down after little more than 10 minutes.

“There are things to improve. We didn’t have the level of the Champions League for 90 minutes,” he admitted, Sevilla’s official website reports.

“The team has that level but today it wasn’t shown. City were stronger and took the game.

“We’re sorry to have lost in front of our supporters. We thank them, because they are always with us.”
