Moyes ‘not worried’ about sack

David Moyes insists he is “not worried” about losing his job, despite Real Sociedad’s 3-2 defeat to Celta Vigo in La Liga on Saturday.

La Real’s wait for a home victory continues after the Galicians came back from two Imanol Agirretxe goals down to emerge with all three points, courtesy of Pablo Hernandez’s last-gasp winner, but the Coach saw enough positives from the game to suggest his side were not in any grave danger.

“We could’ve scored more goals in the first half,” he said after the game.

“[Celta’s] first goal was a deflection and their third was a goal from 30 metres out.

“[On David Zurutuza’s groin injury, which will keep him out for a month], he was playing very well and we missed him.

“We had a great first half and I saw other good things, Agirretxe scoring two goals and chances being created, but I think it was more important to get that first win at home.

“I’m not worried about our current situation, but I leave disappointed.”
